Day 2: Bordas de Nibros to Areu
 
Height gain: 5,016 feet
Height loss: 5,875 feet
 
This is two days combined in to one, providing 15 miles of hiking and necessitating an early start.  We follow an ancient hiking trike high above the Noguera de Lladore valley before a beautiful woodland climb to the Esterri de Cardos valley.  We then head steadily down the pista to Areu and a comfy hotel bed and a chance to stock up on supplies.
